China increases volume of soy-bean purchases

According to customs data volume of soy-bean import to China in January – September have increased for 32% and achieved 28,7 mln. tons versus 21,7 mln. Tons purchased for the same period of the last year.

Main suppliers of oil-bearing plants are the USA (10,4 mln. tons), Brazil (10,4 mln. tons), and Argentina (7,5 mln. tons).

Besides that for the specified period China has imported only 719 th. tons of rape (- 4 %) mainly of Canadian origin.
